Privacy Policy

How we handle the personal information you give us when you book a court.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

1. Who we are

Court and Cup is operated by Court and Cup Sports Center Inc., a corporation registered in the Philippines, at Cane Arts Building B, Furniture Village, Cutcut, Angeles City, Pampanga, Region III (Central Luzon) 2009. That is both our registered address and the facility where the courts are.

We are the personal information controller for the data described here. You can reach our Data Protection Officer at courtandcup@gmail.com.

This policy covers bookings made through this website. Forms you sign at the facility — such as the Open Play waiver — carry their own privacy notice.

2. What we collect

When you book a court on this site, you give us:

  • Your name, mobile number and email address. We ask for all three so we can identify your booking at the desk and contact you if it changes.
  • Anything you type in the notes box. Please do not put information there that you would not want staff to read.
  • Your booking details — court, date, time, sport, any add-ons, the price and any promo code used.
  • Your payment reference number for the GCash or bank transfer you made.
  • A screenshot of your payment. This is the one to be aware of: a receipt image usually shows your name, your mobile number, the amount, the reference number and the account you paid from. We ask for it so staff can confirm the money arrived before your booking is confirmed.

We also receive ordinary technical information — your IP address, browser and the pages you requested — through our hosting and error-monitoring providers, which is how any website works.

We do not collect or store card numbers: payment happens in your own banking or GCash app, not here. There are no customer accounts on this site, so we hold no password of yours. We do not ask for government IDs, health information, or any of the other categories treated as sensitive personal information under the Data Privacy Act.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To take and honour your booking. This is the contract between us — without your name, number and payment we cannot hold a court for you.
  • To verify your payment and to answer questions about it later.
  • To contact you about that booking — confirmation, a change of court or time, or a cancellation.
  • To keep proper business and accounting records, which we are required to do.
  • To run and improve the facility — for example, working out which hours are busy. This uses booking records, not the content of your notes.

We do not send marketing emails. If that ever changes we will ask for your consent separately and you will be able to refuse without affecting your bookings.

4. Who else sees it

Our staff see your booking and payment details in order to run the desk. Beyond that:

  • Our hosting and database providers store the data on our behalf — Vercel (the website) and Supabase (the database and the payment screenshots, hosted in Singapore).
  • Our email provider, Google, delivers your confirmation and any notice that your booking has changed.
  • Sentry receives error reports if something on the site breaks, which can include the page you were on when it happened.

These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

Because these services are hosted abroad, your information is stored on servers outside the Philippines. We remain responsible for it wherever it is held.

5. Photographs and video at the facility

We and our staff sometimes take photographs and video inside the facility, for promotion, social media and our own records, and you may appear in them.

If you would rather not be photographed or filmed, tell the front desk when you arrive and we will note it. You can ask us at any time to stop using an image of you, and we will remove it from anything we control.

Please respect other players the same way. Recording other people at the facility without their agreement is not acceptable and may mean being asked to leave.

6. How long we keep it

Payment screenshots are kept for 24 months. Booking and payment records are kept for 5 years, so that we can settle questions about past bookings and meet our accounting obligations.

7. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

  • Be told what personal information we hold about you, and ask for a copy of it.
  • Have anything inaccurate corrected.
  • Ask us to block, remove or destroy information that is inaccurate, out of date, or no longer needed for the purpose we collected it.
  • Object to how we use it, including withdrawing any consent you have given.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable electronic format.
  • Complain to the National Privacy Commission, and to claim damages if you suffer harm from a false or unauthorised use of your information.

To exercise any of these, email courtandcup@gmail.com. We may need to check who you are first, usually by confirming your booking reference and the mobile number on the booking. Some records we may need to keep even after a request — for example where an accounting or tax rule requires it — and we will tell you if that applies.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can raise it with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

8. How we protect it

Access to booking and payment records requires a staff account, and each account is limited to what its role needs. Payment screenshots are held in private storage that cannot be read without an authorised session. Traffic to this site is encrypted.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that puts your information at serious risk, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

9. Children

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. A parent or guardian may book on behalf of a child and is responsible for that booking. Players under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the facility. A booking made for a child should be made by their parent or guardian, whose contact details we will hold as the person responsible for it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will say so on the booking page.

11. Contact us

For anything about your personal information, email courtandcup@gmail.com. For questions about a booking, contact courtandcup@gmail.com or +63 949 340 7275.
